Radio-diagnosis & Imaging

The Department of Radio-diagnosis and Imaging of Eastern Regional Referral Hospital, Mongar, was first established on 6^th June, 2008. It is located in the diagnostic block section of the ground floor of the hospital. There are four units under the department, namely computed tomography (CT) unit, mammography unit, ultrasound unit and X-ray unit.

The department provides X-ray services 24×7 round the clock while other routine diagnostic imaging services consisting of CT, mammography and ultrasound are offered from 9 am to 3 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday. However, irrespective of any days, the emergency diagnostic imaging services are available 24×7 round the clock on on-call basis.
