On April 14, 2025, a Labsang thruesol/consecration ceremony was held at the Dental department of ERRH to inaugurate two new dental chairs and a new dental X-ray machine (OPG and Cephalometric imaging).
The ceremony was presided by Hospital Lam and was attended by Medical Superintendent, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Human Resources Officer, Accountant, and staffs from the dental department.
One of the newly acquired dental chairs will be designated specifically for orthodontist, while the other will cater to general dental services. The addition of the new equipment is set to significantly enhance patient care, enabling the hospital to improve service delivery and expand its offerings, particularly by introducing orthodontic services. This development marks an important step forward for the dental department, aiming to better meet the needs of the community and improve overall patient outcomes.
