he Department of Physiotherapy joined the global community in celebrating World Physiotherapy Day 2025 today.The event was organized with the aim of creating awareness about the importance of physiotherapy in promoting health, preventing disability, and improving the quality of life of patients.
The program began with a brief introduction on the history and significance of World Physiotherapy Day, highlighting this year’s theme, “[healthy aging]”. The staff from the department, hospital management and Lams participated to mark the occasion.
Poster displays and educational materials emphasizing the benefits of early physiotherapy intervention in recovery and rehabilitation for elderly was presented.
