On the auspicious occasion of the 36th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, tree and flower plantation program was organized at the under-construction Mother and Child Hospital at Nadangzor, Mongar. The event was graced by Dasho Dzongda as the Guest of Honour. Other invited guests, Dzongkhag and regional heads, school principals, staff of the ERRH, and members of the project team attended the program and participated in the plantation.
The plantation program was organized to honour Her Majesty’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability and also to offer our heartfelt gratitude and prayers for Her Majesty’s good health, happiness, and long life.
The activity began with the offering of butter lamps, recitation of Zhabten for long life of Her Majesty, and cake cutting. The plantation is a collective effort to enhance the beauty, greenery, and serenity of the hospital premises and reflects our shared commitment to creating a nurturing and healing environment for future patients and visitors as the hospital progresses toward completion.
The ERRH family and the Project Team would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Program Director and team of ARDC, Wengkhar, for their technical support and generous provision of saplings, to the DAO and team for providing additional planting materials, and to the Project Manager and Contractor of T-Kunzom Construction for their invaluable arrangements and support in making the program a grand success.
