oday on 1st of May, 2026 the Engineering Team of ERRH, comprising Maintenance and Biomedical engineering staff celebrated the Zorig Day which is observed nationwide on the 15th day of the third month of the Bhutanese lunar calendar.
The occasion highlights the significance of preserving Bhutan’s traditional arts and crafts and their contribution to national identity and skilled workmanship. The day was marked by prayers conducted by the hospital lamas in honor of Pel Dueki Khorlo, the deity of Zorig, followed by Lhabsang and Thruesung rituals for the ambulances, utility vans, and all medical equipment within the hospital.
