Today, Eastern Regional Referral Hospital welcomed 49 second-year nursing students from Arura Academy of Health Sciences as they commenced their five-week clinical posting at the hospital.

As this is their first clinical placement at ERRH, a detailed physical orientation was conducted, covering the hospital profile, departments and services, clinical areas, and other essential information to help students familiarize themselves with the hospital and their clinical learning environment.
In addition, four clinical nurses joined ERRH on a four-month contract, further strengthening the hospital’s clinical nursing workforce.
Meanwhile, 22 second-year nursing students from Apollo Bhutan Institute of Nursing are currently undergoing their five-week clinical posting at ERRH.
ERRH serves as a teaching hospital for both nursing institutes, providing students with opportunities to gain practical clinical experience and apply their theoretical knowledge in a real healthcare setting.
